High Hampton's Sip Series: Distiller's Weekend

High Hampton's Sip Series: Distiller's Weekend

High Hampton is quite special to my Power of Three ... my husband, Toby, my daughter, Keeley and myself.  Aside from it having an incredible food and beverage program, beautiful nature, stunning art, and comfortable rooms, it has THOSE people ... the ones that keep you coming back because they are just that magical.  Knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming, they have made High Hampton a place to escape to, step back into nature, realign, and recharge our batteries while enjoying the best that hospitality can provide.

Mid April had my daughter, Keeley, and I venturing back to this magical place in Cashiers, NC, for their Sip Series: Distiller's Weekend.  This was an event curated and moderated by Kelsey Hofmann of Blackberry Mountain and High Hampton fame and it featured two other of my favorite women in spirits, Victoria Eady Butler of Nearest Green Distillery and Marianne Eaves of Eaves Blind and Forbidden.

We had unprecedented access to these women and their wealth of knowledge and I was soaking it up and forming ideas in my head already for the content of the second edition of Bourbon Belles and Whiskey Women.  We also spent time talking to each other individually and as a group in a comfortable social setting where there were no "dumb" questions.  I loved that these amazingly accomplished women were acknowledging us each for where we were on our whiskey journey and honoring that with kindness and grace.

If you haven't yet had an opportunity to visit and experience this beautiful place with experiential events that are created specifically for their guests interests, enjoyment, and enlightenment, then you are missing something more than just a destination.

Check out what they have coming next!
